Our Interim Director, Charlie McMillan, was delighted to give evidence today to the Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee at the Scottish Parliament, sharing insights from his experience contributing to the UK’s 7th review under the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR).
Alongside Charlie, the committee also took evidence from Lorne Berkley, Strategic Lead: Policy and Rights, Scottish Commission for People with Learning Disabilities; Clare MacGillivray, Director, Making Rights Real; Lucy Mulvagh, Director of Policy, Research and Impact, Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE); Professor Angela O’Hagan, Chair, Scottish Human Rights Commission, all fellow HRCS members.
