HRCS UPR Submission – Member Workshop 2

This workshop will bring together HRCS members to continue discussions on our planned submission to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process in 2027.

The UPR focuses primarily on human rights at UK level, but provides an opportunity to highlight human rights issues and developments in Scotland. HRCS is particularly interested in exploring issues including the Human Rights Bill, migrants’ rights, poverty and other key human rights priorities.

Building on the discussions planned for our initial workshop in November 2026, this session will provide an opportunity to continue discussions on our approach to the submission, consider the key issues and priorities identified by members, and discuss how these could contribute to HRCS’ UPR submission.

Date: Thursday 4 February 2027
Time: 10am-11:30am
Location: Online/Zoom

Who can attend?
This workshop is open to HRCS members who are interested in contributing to the development of the submission.

Please register to attend.
