Renew Your Consortium Membership Now
Consortium members will now have more involvement in the direction of the Consortium - renew your membership today to make sure your voice counts.
The Human Rights Consortium Scotland is now officially a Tier 2 Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). This means that our members have a greater role in shaping the Consortium’s work and future.
Organisational members will be eligible to vote in Board elections at our next Annual General Meeting, which will take place on 3 February 2026, giving you a stronger say in how the Consortium is governed - and the opportunity to take part in members-only webinars and events.
What does this change mean?
Becoming a Tier 2 SCIO ensures greater transparency and accountability through more rigorous financial reporting - giving members confidence in the Consortium’s management. It also strengthens our credibility, which can enhance fundraising and partnership opportunities, directly benefiting you as members.
To ensure that all members are aligned with our new Constitution, we’re asking all organisational members who joined before 6 May 2025 to renew your membership. This is quick and easy - just fill in the short form on our website:
